Rua Humaitá climbs above the coastline to a quiet ridge lined with five of the peninsula's most luxurious boutique hotels. Four of the five have restaurants open to the public; three rank among the finest dining experiences in town, one is more casual, and one keeps its kitchen private for guests only. What unites them is the view: every terrace looks west across the rooftops and the open Atlantic, making this the single best strip in Búzios to watch the sun sink into the sea over a creative cocktail. The bartenders here compete on craft — expect house-infused spirits, edible garnishes, and drinks that photograph as well as they taste. Service throughout is attentive and unhurried, a step above the downtown bustle. The farthest hotel is barely 100 metres from our front door.
